On 19 September 2025, Amb. Jestas Abuok Nyamanga joined the celebrations marking the Day of Wallonia in Namur, the capital of Wallonia, one of Belgium’s three regions.

The Day of Wallonia is celebrated annually in September and commemorates the participation of the Walloon people in the Belgian Revolution of 1830.

On the margins of the celebrations, the Ambassador held fruitful exchanges with H.E Adrien Dolimontes, Minister-President of the Wallonia Region and Hon. Charlotte Bazelaire, Acting Mayor of the City of Namur, focusing on further strengthening Tanzania–Belgium relations in areas of mutual interest.
