On 12 September 2025, Ambassador Jestas Abuok Nyamanga attended La VI Journée des Ambassadeurs dans le Hainaut, an annual diplomatic gathering hosted by the Governor of Hainaut Province and the President of the Hainaut Consular Corps.
Hainaut, located in Belgium’s Wallonia region, is a province with a rich industrial history. Today, it is positioning itself as a hub for logistics, renewable energy, biotechnology, aerospace, and creative industries, while its cultural and natural heritage also make it an attractive tourism destination.
The event brought together members of the Diplomatic Corps, provincial authorities, and the local business community. It offered a unique space to engage with the region’s dynamic business sector and discover the economic and tourism potential of Hainaut Province.
Ambassador Nyamanga used the occasion to highlight Tanzania’s economic opportunities and explore potential opportunities for cooperation between Tanzanian institutions and the Hainaut business community.
