Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Tanzania, Hon. Daniel Sillo, has proposed enhanced cooperation among the parliaments of OACPS Member States through greater knowledge-sharing and improved access to information to strengthen parliamentary engagement across the Organization.

During talks with OACPS Secretary-General Hon. Moussa Saleh Batraki in Dar es Salaam, Hon. Sillo reaffirmed Tanzania's commitment to the effective implementation of the Samoa Agreement, guided by the principles of equality, inclusiveness, and mutual benefit.

Hon. Batraki highlighted ongoing reforms to align OACPS programmes with Member States' priorities, strengthen parliamentary cooperation, and establish sustainable financing for the Organization. 

Tanzania's Ambassador to Belgium and Representative to the European Union, Hon. Jestas Nyamanga, reaffirmed Tanzania's support for the Samoa Agreement and broader development agenda.
