On 1 July 2026, Ambassador Jestas Abuok Nyamanga held a courtesy meeting with Mr. Jeremy Knops, Director General of COLEAD. COLEAD is an organization dedicated to supporting agricultural value chains through the strengthening of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), enhancement of food standards, and expansion of market access. During the meeting, discussions focused on COLEAD’s ongoing and future joint initiatives aimed at building SME capacity and improving market access for Tanzanian products. COLEAD is currently implementing European Union-supported projects in Tanzania, including initiatives focused on horticulture development, food safety and quality standards, sustainable agriculture, and the strengthening of export-oriented value chains.
