On behalf of the Honourable Ambassador Mahmoud Thabit Kombo (MP), Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Ambassador Jestas Abuok Nyamanga led the Tanzanian delegation to the 121st Session of the OACPS Council of Ministers, held in Brussels, Belgium, on 15–16 July 2026.
The meeting reached agreement on the implementation of the resolutions adopted at the 11th OACPS Summit of Heads of State and Government, held in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, in March 2026. The discussions focused on advancing issues of common interest to OACPS Member States.
Priority areas identified for implementation include the blue economy, trade and investment, climate change, digital transformation, strengthening value chains, and enhancing cooperation among Member States, with the aim of fostering sustainable development, economic resilience, and shared prosperity across the OACPS community.
